Draw Bias is a pit, not a slogan shop. We chalk where the sole bottoms on Jefferson County clay. A late mark can look like a pretty draw. An early mark looks like a fat shot you blame on bounce. Neither story is allowed to start until the plate has spoken.
Why this pit exists
Bounce cannot rewind a funeral
People drive in from Orange with a grind they loved on television. The first swing on our plate bottoms behind the ball. The grind is still in the catalog. The shot is already dead. We write that sentence on the ticket and only then talk furniture.
Neches air holds a bruise longer than Hill Country dirt. Ship-channel gusts lean a mark later than a still warehouse. If your last “fitting” happened in dry air, the photos you brought are a different county.
