The map
Early, late, or actually under the ball
We do not average marks. A 6-iron that bottoms early and a 9-iron that bottoms late are not a ‘set tendency.’ They are two counties.
The map is a sheet with the ball drawn as a circle and three zones: funeral (behind), honest (under), thin costume (ahead). Nestor hates the word costume until he needs it.
Channel wind is written in the margin in the same pencil. A still warehouse will hide a lean that Port Arthur golfers live in every Thursday.
Why the map is not a launch table
Launch can look noble while the sole is still lying. We keep both, but the map is the argument. Numbers without a bruise are a brochure.
